Tóm tắt
Nghiên cứu tập trung phân tích đặc tính của lớp phủ composite Ni-Cr/ Cr3C2 được chế tạo bằng công nghệ phun phủ nhiệt. Kết quả thực nghiệm cho thấy lớp phủ có cấu trúc đặc chắc, ít lỗ xốp, với độ dày trung bình khoảng 180µm. Tổ chức tế vi thể hiện sự phân bố đồng đều của các hạt pha cứng crom cacbit (Cr3C2) trong ma trận liên kết Ni-Cr dẻo dai, tạo nên sự liên kết cài răng lược chặt chẽ với vật liệu nền. Về mặt cơ tính, lớp phủ đạt độ cứng vượt trội, dao động từ 677,8 đến 707,1 HV0.3, gấp khoảng 5,2 lần so với nền thép. Mặc dù độ bám dính của hệ mẫu hoàn chỉnh (15,80MPa) thấp hơn so với lớp lót đơn thuần (25,21MPa) do ứng suất nội tại từ pha cứng, giá trị này vẫn đảm bảo yêu cầu làm việc trong điều kiện khắc nghiệt. Đặc biệt, khả năng kháng mài mòn của lớp phủ rất ấn tượng với cường độ mòn trung bình chỉ 4,85 10-9 kg/N.m. Sự kết hợp giữa độ cứng cao của Cr3C2 và khả năng bao bọc của ma trận Ni-Cr đã thiết lập một hàng rào bảo vệ bề mặt ưu việt, giúp giảm thiểu đáng kể sự hao hụt vật liệu do ma sát.
Abstract
This study analyzes the characteristics of Ni-Cr/ Cr3C2 composite coatings fabricated using thermal spray technology. Experimental results indicate that the coating possesses a dense structure with low porosity and an average thickness of approximately 180µm. The microstructure exhibits a uniform distribution of chromium carbide (Cr3C2) hard particles within a ductile Ni-Cr binder matrix, creating a robust mechanical interlocking bond with the substrate. Regarding mechanical properties, the coating achieves superior hardness, ranging from 677.8 to 707.1 HV0.3 which is approximately 5.2 times higher than that of the substrate. Although the adhesion strength of the complete coating system (15.80MPa) is lower than that of the bond coat alone (25.21MPa) due to internal stresses from the hard phase, this value remains sufficient for operation under harsh conditions. Notably, the wear resistance of the coating is impressive, with an average wear rate of only 4,85 10-9 kg/N.m. The synergy between the high hardness of Cr3C2 and the encapsulation provided by the Ni-Cr matrix establishes an excellent surface protection barrier, significantly minimizing material loss due to friction.
