During long-term use, the reinforce concrete piles are inclined, broken or missing. Damage and loss of reinforced concrete piles mainly occur on the river side of the embankment.
The damage and loss of piles if not treated will affect the general stability of the embankment. This paper proposes a method to replace the damaged, inclined, broken piles and drive the newly compensated piles.
