Abstract

Complete smoothing cement concrete surface is a quality requirement in the method of using drum roller moving on concrete surface to compact and smooth the concrete mixture. The energy for compaction and smoothing is the rotational kinetic energy transferred from the drum roller onto the concrete mix together with the compressive force due to the drum's own weight and the roller drive mechanisms transmitted to the concrete mixture. The content of the article focuses on determining the flattening mode to ensure no surface defects; determine the smoothing ability of the drum roller and the compaction efficiency of the roller, thereby providing a method to calculate the main parameters of the roller to completely smooth the cement concrete surface.
