Abstract
This paper presents the research results of the design and manufacture of an electrical control system that coordinates the exhaust gas recirculation system and hydrogen addition for the diesel engine R180. Control code is written on Labview software and compiled on HDL 9090 to control actuators such as EGR valve, hydrogen injector, high-pressure pump. The test results at 1500rpm show that the electrical control system operates stably with a rapid response, the toxic emissions components such as NOx and smoke are reduced compared to the original engine, while fuel consumption is reduced at some load conditions.
