Abstract
Ocean shipping is one of the most important modes of transport used worldwide. It has existed for centuries helping people to transport goods as well as people. However, besides the benefits that it brings, there are many losses in both vehicles and goods caused by maritime risks. The purpose of this study is to build a predictive model of the factors leading to the risk in ocean shipping. The study uses quantitative research methods to analyze data with a survey sample at Kintetsu World Express Vietnam Co., Ltd. Research results have shown that there are 4 main factors that cause risks during shipping by sea.
