Abstract
The shipping industry, with its important role in the global supply chain and being one of the major greenhouse gas emitters, is facing an urgent need to transition to sustainable development. This study investigates the role of Blockchain technology in supporting green shipping, focusing on its ability to enhance transparency, efficient supply chain management, and emission reduction. Through structural equation modeling (SEM), the study results have shown the positive impact of blockchain technology on both the operational efficiency and environmental performance of shipping enterprises. The study has important implications for promoting the development of green shipping, contributing to the goal of sustainable development.
