Abstract

In this article, the results were presented on changing of microstructure of CuAl9Fe4Ni2 alloy after casting; quenching and tempering. The microstructure were found to be martensitic phases; residual α phase and the intermetallic phase of Fe and Al. By OM, the article has shown that the heat treatment process for alloy hardness is uniform annealing at 850oC for 02 hours and cooling in water, then tempering at 350oC for 02 hours which was the highest hardness value.
