SOLUTIONS TO SUPPORT EMPLOYMENT FOR MARINE STUDENTS BY SCHOLARSHIP AND TRAINEE PROGRAM FROM FACULTIES

Abstract

In the last few years, the number of students registering to study maritime majors such as Navigation, Marine Engineering of Maritime Schools in Vietnam in general and Vietnam Maritime University in particular is more and more decreasing. There are many causes of this situation, but in terms of ensuring employment, this is also a reason that has a big influence on the major selection of students. If professional Faculty is able to make the connection in international cooperation with reputable partners and directly involved in the management of their scholarship and trainee programs, it will be possible to create good reputation for students on securing employment conditions after graduation, contributing to encouraging students to choose a maritime majors to study, improving the number of students entering the maritime majors.
