Abstract
Application of Internet of Things(IoT) in robot control has been deployed and widely published in research works as well as in reality. However, due to the limitations of storage and processing capabilities, the performance of IoT services is significantly reduced. These limitations can be decreased by using cloud computing technology (Cloud). In addition, this combination with Cloud which integrating IoT resources allows enhancing the capacity and expanding the scope of IoT with many new services. In this paper, the authors proposed an IoT-Cloud application solution for controlling long-range robots. This solution was tested on a mobile object tracking model to affirm the advantages of combining and integrating IoT and Cloud technologies.
