Abstract

Using renewable energy for air conditioning systems is a trend of current researches. A useful alternative to conventional power-consuming cooling systems is the use of cooling systems in which the adsorption cooling cycles are combined with residential solar collectors. The main advantage of solar-powered cooling systems is the suitability of cooling needs and solar radiation intensity in summer climates in Vietnam. This paper focuses on studying the feasibility of using solar energy for the adsorption cooling cycle in which new adsorbents are used. Theoretical calculation of the processes occurring in devices of the system will also be mentioned in this paper
