Abstract
Increasing competition makes small and medium enterprises closer together to seek cooperation, improve productivity and reduce operating costs. Horizontal cooperation has been seen as an effective business strategy that meets the expectations of businesses. However, trust in partners is considered a key factor affecting the cooperation of companies to look for targeted benefits. This study focuses on understanding the role of trust in horizontal cooperation between enterprises. The results of the study indicated the direct and mediated effects of trust in the horizontal cooperation. The implication and result of the study are discussed in detail in the study.
