Abstract

In this paper, the method and procedure for preparation of using ultrasonic wave to disperse mix-powder of ZnO-Fe nanoparticles into pure epoxy coating are introduced generally. Some electrochemical analysis of specimens in aggressive corrosion solution have been carried out. Those results have shown that mix-powder of ZnO-Fe particles after surface modification were well added into pinhole in epoxy films and the anti-corrosion properties of coating were improved, corrosion rate were significantly reduced: 8 times in acidic solution, approximately 34 times in strong alkaline solution.
