Abstract
In this paper, the effect of pouring temperature to the created microstructure of 356.0, 358.0 and 512.0 aluminum alloys with the lost foam casting process is investigated experimentally. Pouring temperature is more highly, the created microstructure is more coarsely. The equiaxed grains of α-Al are appeared in 512.0 alloy with three values of pouring temperature. This microstructure is just created with the below 6750C and 6500C of temperature for 356.0 and 358.0, respective. In constrast, the dendrite of α-Al grains is formed in 356.0 alloy with the 7000C of pouring temperature, the second dendrite arm size is approximately 50μm and the length of dendrite up to 575μm.
