Abstract

Currently, the solution to install auxiliary propellers for ships has been applied in many places, many companies around the world, in which in Vietnam, VOSCO has installed for fleets based on recommendations on savings, fuel as well as technical assurance of the propeller manufacturer made. However, in practice, there are many influencing factors, so this article will evaluate in detail the economic and technical efficiency of this solution after a period of application on 2 Container transport ships by VOSCO.
